They are well-known those laboratories that work in order to look for new active ingredients with pharmacotherapeutic activity or in new indications for the active ingredients that belong to Pharmaceutical Specialities already known and commercialised. These lines, although they are very interesting, they are very expensive in time and money. Laboratorios Asociados Nupel prefers to bet on shorter-term projects and with a lot of market possibilities; we cannot forget that exportation is a very important point in our company, and that it entails considerable annual incomes.

 

Within the lines the company follows it is the development of new Pharmaceutical Specialties of active ingredients, modifying composition, concentration (allowing the improvement of posologies) and release ways of the same (focused on pharmaceutical forms of sustained release.) These investigation projects are developped jointly with the University and the R+D Departments of other Pharmaceutical Laboratories. This development allows it to enter the market of new pharmaceutical forms.
